Scouting Leader

9th Formby Bevers / Spitfire ESU

2022 - 2023 (present day)

As scouting has helped me develop my skill and myself I have decided to give back by being a leader for Beavers and Explorers volunteering my time on Tuesday nights which has me helping lead the meeting and helping the Beavers and Explorers complete projects during the meetings.

As a leader I have participated in mandatory and none mandatory training, these are some of my certificates:

Explorers

9th Formby Scouts / Spitfire ESU

2018 - 2022

Explores allowed me to grow in a team and plan meetings with my group.

I have had the opportunity to tech skills not just to other explores but beavers, cubs and scouts who I have helped mentor through scouting

I completed Dragnet in my group after planing our strategy with my group.

Scouts

9th Formby Scouts

2016 - 2018

Scouts helped me find leadership qualities within myself as I was given the opportunity to lead a troop. This allowed me to mentor the younger scouts, teaching them what I had learnt and leading them in team activities.

Cubs

9th Formby Cubs

2013 - 2016

Cubs helped me find adventure and grow my love of the great outdoors. I also learnt how to put up larger equipment such as Icelandic tents and our scout gazebos.

Beavers

1st Formby Beavers

2010 - 2012

Beavers allowed me make friends and have fun outside: playing games, camping outside and working in a team which created the foundation of my outdoor survival skills.
