I am 19 years old and I am currently studying Digital Media and Extended Reality at the University of Salford.

In the summer I finished studying BTEC Engineering, BTEC Business studies, Digital Media Cambridge technical and Gold Arts Award at Formby High Sixth Form.

Student parliament

Formby High School (2016 - 2021)

In the students parliament I brought up other students issues and championed healthy food in the school canteen.

JLT (Junior Leadership Team)

Formby High School (2019 - 2021)

I built on my student parliament work and created the 2021 year book which sold more copy’s than any other yearbook in Formby High School history!

Technician

Formby High School Tech crew (2017 - 2023)

I have been in the Tech crew since the first day of year 8 where I have not just learnt how to work in a team but how to lead a team. After learning how to be a Lighting, sound, smoke, fog and AV technician. I was made head tech in 2019 overseeing the tech crew and leading them.

Prepare and use filming equipment for B roll of sewing for a “Coronavirus: the Survivors’ Stories” for ITV Tonight.

Volunteer

I made PPE for the NHS and care-home staff. I have also designed and made over 800 mask straps. I have also made visors, masks, gowns, scrubs including hat shirt and trousers.

Sixth Form Ambassador

I represent Formby High School Sixth Form at open evenings and extra curricular events. As a Sixth Form Ambassidor I have helped organise and chair Ambassidor meetings and events such as our Ukraine apple where we collected items to be sent to Ukraine to help the Ukraines who have fled to Poland.

I was an “in-store” employee so I was responsible for taking, making, cooking, packaging and handing over the order. I spent most of my time as CSR (Customer service representative) which was taking orders from walk in’s and over the phone as well as handing over the orders when they where done. I also did some logistics work with the delivery drivers and riders to make efficient use of personnel and time.

Dock 10, Media City (16/3/2022 - 18/3/2022)

I worked in Media city on the Comic Relief, countdown, Blue Peter, CBBC CBeebies and Match of the day sets. I also helped fix one of the main cameras on the Comic relief set.

Media Logger

Gracie productions - Sky Sports (28/8/2022)

I worked as a Media Logger with a Gracie productions a production company that worked with the Legends Tour (a golf competition that we were filming at Formby Golf Club), the footage was aired on sky sports on Tuesday 6th September and was replayed two more times that week and it was uploaded to YouTube.

Formby High School (7/12/2022)

I helped film for the Formby High's Christmas video which is an annual comedic video to be shown at our Christmas assembly featuring only staff of the school. As well as filming I was able to see the creative process of the video including choreography and improvisation which helped produce a fun comedy video.
